Hello and welcome to my website. If you have found me, you might be experiencing a crisis in your life or struggling with painful feelings that you can’t quite put into words. Whatever your reasons for seeking therapy, I offer a warm and non-judgemental space where you can explore thoughts and feelings that are troubling you and figure out how to move forward.

My approach

As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of approaches to meet clients’ unique needs and goals. Sometimes this involves exploring your current difficulties to help you manage them, or processing past events that may be impacting you in the present. Most importantly, psychotherapy is a unique space where you can be heard and understood, without being judged, shamed or dismissed.

I will work alongside you, at your pace, to understand your unique challenges and ways of experiencing the world. I won’t tell you how to live your life, but I will meet you with empathy and curiosity to help you gain greater self-understanding and insight into your difficulties. By exploring old patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving together, you can find ways to move forward that feel right for you.

On our first session, we will explore your reasons for seeking therapy and how we might work together. You may not be sure what your goals are, or what to expect, and that's completely fine. Should we decide to work together we can agree on a set number of sessions, or an open-ended contract, depending on your needs.

About me

I am currently completing the final year of a UCKP-accredited MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute. I have been in practice since 2022, supporting clients with a range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties, in long-term and short-term sessions. I have worked in a specialist bereavement service and for a charity supporting adult survivors of childhood abuse.

Orginally from Belgium, I have lived in the UK for almost 20 years. Prior to my training, I volunteered as a befriender for people feeling suicidal and worked in NHS mental health services and clinical research. Witnessing how powerful it can be to speak openly and be genuinely heard sparked my interest in becoming a psychotherapist. With a background in Psychology, I am always learning about current research in the field to inform my practice. I abide by the UKCP Ethical Principles and Code of Professional Conduct.
